I'm starting to feel like Edie Beale. I dress to please the birds and I shave to please my panty hose. The only addiction I have is to a constant flow of fresh inspiration. On my work lunches, I'll break away alone and try to find some nook and cranny off-beat store somewhere in this broken down city of decay to explore. I've spent time in every corner of the mall I work in but I've also traveled the streets, visiting anything that sells clothes, housewares, or incense burners but it's occurring to me that I've run out of things to discover here. I'm trapped in this little country world with my fire-engine red lipstick and black eyeliner.

Myself
The ongoing mundane roar of life is barely touching my senses, as I am living in a constant daydream.
Your life can be whatever you want it to be, you just have to make it.
i love it...seriously...i love it...and i promise there are other wonderful inspiration filled areas awaiting you in your city of decay...look to nature...look to the decay...look to everything...youre amazing...you'll find it ...i once had a painting teacher that had lived in the desert...and found inspiration in the telephone wires that ran along the highway...you'll find your telephone wires :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, so much for that. The story revealed a good point. Honestly, your mindset itself inspires me.
