I've kept the original magazine article in a drawer forever because of how inspiring the photos are to me. What amazing style. Manson in Galliano, Dita in Westwood.
As a child, The Wizard of Oz was my favorite movie. Magic, color, and ruby red slippers, what could be better? I've actually seen the originals in a museum in Washington D.C.
Style.com says she is the major inspiration for designers all over the world. Some are saying she's the next Madonna. I just know all of her lyrics, so now let me explore her fashion sense.
I think she rocks and there's gonna be a lot of wannabe's out there to mimic her. Her inspiration looks as if she mixes uber urban alternative style with high-end style (think couture meets scene, think Audrey Kitching and Raquel Reed meets Donatella Versace) and maybe she loves Star Wars. Maybe she is the future. Maybe she lives in a world beyond our world.
Remember when the most beautiful woman in the world was alive? I've compiled Aaliyah's photos and my fav video. She was so inspirational in her own style and beauty. So unique.

I've studied fashion design at FIDM-Los Angeles. I had the opportunity to work with two awesome fashion designers while I was there: Amal Guessous- A&G Cashmere, and Jeffery Sebelia-Project Runway's Season 3 winner and designer for Cosa Nostra.
